Dealing with an NZMMMA member gives the client an assurance that all installation work will be guaranteed by the Association. The guarantee does not cover headstone materials.

NZMMMA members are expected to meet a high level of skills to maintain highest industry standards and the integrity of the trade. Members must adhere to the Rules of the Association and Code of Practice. It is the policy of the NZMMMA to endorse the use of granite in modern lawn cemeteries due to its superior performance qualities.

The Association will act as a mediator between the consumer and NZMMMA member with any requests that are received.

Consumers are also able to claim through the Consumer Guarantees Act relating to services that have not been met and also the Fair Trading Act which protects the consumer from being misled by a business when it is advertising or selling goods and services.
